Mallette sent X (formerly Twitter) another emoji-filled message about Jack’s birth at the same time. “ CONGRATULATIONS @justinbieber & Hailey,” she tweeted. “I LOVE YOU FOREVER BABY JACK!!”
Since Mallette only has one son, Justin, Jack’s birth signifies her first grandparenthood. Through his father Jeremy Bieber, Justin is also related to three half-sisters and one half-brother.
On Saturday, August 24, 49-year-old Jeremy posted a message on X. “Papa,” he wrote, presumably referring to his son’s new role as a father.
Justin posted a picture of the child’s foot to Instagram on Friday, August 23, confirming the baby news with the message “WELCOME HOME JACK BLUES BIEBER.”
Hailey, 27, added their son’s name, a teddy bear, and a blue love emoji to her husband’s post on Instagram Stories.
A representative for Hailey told PEOPLE that the founder of Rhode was already than six months pregnant when the longtime pair originally revealed on Instagram that they were expecting their first child together in May 2024.
Two months after becoming engaged, in September 2018, the couple exchanged vows in a courtroom in New York City. A more elaborate wedding took place in South Carolina the following year.
