Kylie Jenner may seem as if she can take criticism but when it gets too harsh, there are times when it could break down anyone. Unfortunately, this recently happened and she opened up on an episode of The Kardashians to share her stress.
She said that she was tired of the constant online criticism associated with her appearance. As a 26-year-old beauty mogul, you can imagine that it would hurt to hear such things. These include people calling her old when she has a more natural look.
Even though she exudes confidence and tries to put on a good show, the cruel remarks do have an effect on her. They bring forth insecurities that have been a problem for her since she was very young.
In the conversation, she talked about how she feels and needs to maintain self-confidence despite any scrutiny that comes her way. When she decided to wear minimal makeup to a fashion show, she was hoping to avoid the criticism that she usually receives for wearing too much makeup.
Unfortunately, the unflattering lighting and a lack of makeup led online trolls to comment about how she looked older than her age. She said that she does have lines on her face and has had them since she was a child, so the criticism is just an old story.
She admitted that she has had a problem dealing with negative comments for many years and feels vulnerable as a result. Despite the fact that she has become used to the remarks in some ways, some of them deeply bother her.
Kylie does what she can to reduce the public outcry about her looks, including reducing the lip fillers that she uses. She feels, however, that the cycle of criticism is one that will never stop and there will never be anything but harsh criticism coming her way.
Kendall did her best to make her sister feel better, saying that she never looked better but it may be impossible to change the public and there opinion. She said that the only solution may be to just get tough and to get above the negativity in some way or another.
It’s unfortunate that these things happen, and this is just a glimpse of the problems that many people, especially those who are in the public eye, have to go through on a regular basis.
